5th grade, students will receive an immediate restriction for violating the dress code. Restrictions will take place Thursday mornings from 7:25-7:45 am in Day Care. A parent must sign you in. If you are late, you will be required to make up your minutes. If you fail to show up, you will receive an additional restriction.
General Uniform Requirements for Boys and Girls:
Shirts/Blouses:
Shirts/blouses must be tucked in at all times. White turtlenecks may be worn under blouses/shirts.
Pants:
Pants must be neatly hemmed and belted. No low rise or cargo pants are allowed. Solid black or navy belts
Shoes/Socks:
Solid black, navy, grey, or white or a combination of these color shoes. No patterns (checkered, decorated, light up, etc.) Toms, Vans, Converse, and Adidas are all acceptable brands and carry color combinations within our uniform code. Solid navy or white socks only may be worn. Socks must be visible above the shoe and may contain a small logo, but none that go the whole length of the sock.
Outerwear:
Only uniform sweater or a PE sweatshirt may be worn in classrooms. During cold/rainy weather, other jackets may be worn outside only. No hats/beanies may be worn, except outside and on extremely cold days.
PE Uniforms:
Any combination of: uniform sweatpants, sweatshirts, shorts/walking shorts; PE T-shirt or knit uniform shirt is permitted. Tennis shoes with minimal colors may be worn on PE days only. PE uniforms may be worn to school and worn all day. No changing is required.
Grooming:
No strongly-scented cologne or any other strongly-scented hair products are permitted. Hairstyles that are unbecoming, bizarre, distracting, or otherwise inappropriate are not permitted. Only the student's natural hair color may be worn. Hair must be clean and neatly combed. Spiked hair may only be one inch in length from the scalp.
